Who is my accountant?

Is my data secure?

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, connections to your bank and software are read-only, and only you and your accountant can see your books.

Can I keep Xero?

Yes. Bookhand works on top of Xero, so you keep your existing software and history. QuickBooks support is coming soon.

What is Making Tax Digital?

Making Tax Digital for income tax means sole traders and landlords must keep digital records and send HMRC quarterly updates. It started in April 2026 for incomes over £50k, extends to over £30k from April 2027 and over £20k from April 2028. Bookhand keeps your digital records up to date every day, and your accountant signs off every quarterly update.
